Our founder Lasse Jalkanen is known for his great love of chocolate, making raw chocolate a particularly important product group at Foodin. The main ingredient of our chocolate is Criollo variety original cocoa beans, which are grown by hundreds of family farmers in the heart of the Amazonian rainforest. Our raw chocolate gets its sweetness from Indonesian coconut sugar, which has often been referred to as the most sustainable sweetener in the world. Coconut sugar has a low glycemic index, keeping blood sugar levels steady.
