Foodin's organic, creamy coconut milk is made from the white pulp of the coconut. Coconut milk has been a core ingredient in cooking and ceremonies in countries and cultures all across southern Asia and the Pacific for centuries. Of all the plant milks, coconut milk has the longest and most tradition-filled history - in many countries, where coconut milk has been a kitchen staple, it is the main "milk" among the population. Our coconut milk is brought to Finland from the same place as our hugely popular coconut water. Coconut palm trees are grown via forest farming, supporting biodiversity and the wellbeing of farmers. Thanks to its diverse nature, forest farming guarantees livelihoods for farmers in more than one way. Farmers are paid a fair compensation for their work, they are provided with proper training and tools, and it is ensured that their children have access to school. Foodin's coconut milk is very easy to use. The milk is packaged in a resealable TetraPak with a sugar cane cap. The packaging keeps the product good in the refrigerator, and is easy to sort into cardboards.
